Counties with lower levels of Smog pollution are designated as "Change of Ownership" areas. In Change of Ownership areas of the state, Smog checks are only required when a vehicle is bought or sold, and/or when a used vehicle is imported into the State of California.
New vehicles imported into California by the vehicle manufacturer do not require Smog checks. These vehicles are California Certified during production.

Simply drive your vehicle to our convenient Certified Smog Test Only Center to have our California State Registered Technicians conduct your inspection. Our experienced Smog Technicians will inform you of any serious issues if there are any.

so we are licensed to perform all Smog Tests for all Vehicles required
by the State of California.
Certified Smog is also a California State Licensed Registration Service so we can issue Vehicle Stickers and Registrations on the spot. We can also perform Vehicle Transfers, Verifications and Out of State Smog Inspections.
